We are looking to add a smart, driven and growth-minded Computer Vision Engineer to our amazing team. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you be using state of the art and existing CV/ML/DL techniques and architectures to advance our cutting-edge 3D AI platform and solve cool challenges in SLAM, 3D semantic segmentation/classification and explainable AI in close collaboration with the rest of the tech team and product.

What you will be doing:

  • Research, prototype and develop CV/ML solutions and scalable codebase that can be deployed at scale in the cloud by using state-of-the-art techniques

  • Train and improve ML/DL models and datasets

  • Building Data and AI algorithms and architectures for cutting-edge products and solutions that wow our customers 

  • Stay on top of latest developments in research and commercial settings to push the boundaries of what is developed and deployed

  • Actively identify data, pipeline and/or operations bottlenecks and propose solutions to increase automation and optimization through ML or general software solutions

Technical skills we’d love to see:

  • +3 years of relevant work experience in Computer Vision, Machine Vision, or other related areas

  • PhD/ MSc in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent job experience)

  • Experience with Computer Vision techniques and DL architectures in at least one of these areas: classification, regression, segmentation or localization

  • Knowledge and proven track record using ML techniques such as Decision Trees, SVMs, Naive Bayes or K-Means

  • Experience in researching, developing, building and scaling production quality and scalable codes and algorithms

  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow and sci-learn

  • Familiarity in training DL/ML models in cloud (GCP, Azure or AWS)

  • You are a self-starter and like to build cutting-edge solutions that solve real and big problems and understand/implement a customer-first approach

  • You stay on top of latest research and are passionate about computer vision and machine learning and their advancements

  • You are a strong problem solver and can think critically and, on your feet

  • You have a direct communication style, good presentation skills and are a great team player who does not take herself/himself too seriously

Any of the following is a plus:

  • Coding skills in C/C++

  • Start-up experience ideally in AI, Computer Vision or Enterprise software setting

  • Experience with 3D data and sensors, big data applications or Edge computing (IIOT)

  • ML Ops and Cloud ML tools (e.g. SageMaker)

  • GPU programming skills (e.g. CUDA OpenCL)

  • Familiarity with agile software methodologies
